About Me

I am Max Bloom, I'm a U.S. Navy Veteran having served almost 14 years as an Aviation Electronic Technician. I joined the Navy as an undesignated Airman, the lowest of the low, when I separated from the Navy I was a Chief Select (It's a long story). My career took me around the world 5 times, including twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. I was able to work with every branch of the Military and spent almost 2 years working with the Army. 

I spent a lot of time working "Out of Rate", as a Prison Guard during a Detainee Ops deployment and as a Drone Pilot for Naval Special Warfare. I had the best career I could have dreamed of. 

After separating from the Navy I started The ScuttleButt Show which is all about continuing the discussion about the good, the bad, and everything in between when it comes to Military News. We have amazing guests, conduct thorough reviews of Military books, movies, and gear and have a lot of fun along the way. 

I am a proud Husband to my Wife who is in the Navy and a Proud Dad to our dog Brie!
